A custom collaboration between Laced Up, Prriya & Chintans Couture Diamonds, and Nike, the diamond encrusted Solitaire Kicks (valued at over $50,000) represent the ultimate in very high end sneaker design. Unveiled just this Tuesday, the sneakers were presented to Atlanta’s very own Big Boi, by Laced Up owner Ernel Dawkins and P&C Couture owner Rita Patel, in front of a crowd of photographers, members of the media and shoe aficionados alike. "When it came time to consider which celebrity to honor with this shoe, we thought it would be perfect to go with Atlanta's top sneaker head, Antwan "Big Boi" Patton. To us he represents style and affluent flavor", states Ernel Dawkins, the owner of Laced Up boutique.
The shoe is encrusted with approximately 11 carats of fine chocolate champagne diamonds, imported from India and provided by P&C Couture. The event also featured the unveiling of P&C’s new ATL line of diamond jewelery.
